These notes name a sitting, a market, or a constraint. They are not a scoreboard. The longer gold story is from the intensive; the shorter notes cover the morning, the private hour, and the weekend journal.
Week three moved faster than I could keep the count clean. I stayed after the room emptied and asked Niran to repeat the accumulation marks on my gold sheet. He did, without turning it into a private lesson. I still wish that Thursday had a slower second pass built into the evening. The later weeks made more sense once the range floor was actually mine, not copied in a hurry.
Niran would not let a second market into the ninety minutes. I was annoyed for the first quarter hour. The gold count was cleaner because of it, and I had to book another Friday for the baht, which is probably what I should have done in the first place.
07:15 is a hard hour if you are coming from the other side of the river. I nearly skipped the second Tuesday. What kept the sitting bearable was the refusal to add a fourth market when someone asked. We finished at 08:30 with three updated sheets, not a debate.
I came thinking a journal meant a longer essay. Elise sent my first page back because the cancellation mark was three sentences and no price. By Sunday I had one number I was willing to be wrong about. The historical swing on Saturday was humbling in a useful way: the sheet already knew how the story ended, and my page did not.

Anchalee arrived with two years of weekly gold bars and a sentence she had been repeating to friends: the market was in an advance, and the advance still had time. She wanted the intensive to decorate that sentence. The first Thursday did not decorate it. The trough she was counting from was not the trough a stranger would have marked. Niran made her walk the sheet backward until the earlier low was obvious, and the week-count got older in a single pencil stroke.
By the distribution evening her map had moved. The crest was already in, a later push had failed back into the range, and the cancellation mark she wrote was a weekly hold above that crest. She did not receive a command to sell anything. The academy does not give those. What she took home was the marked sheet and a rule she could check without asking the room: if that hold never arrived, the advance sentence was retired.
Three weeks after the last Thursday she wrote to the desk. The hold had not arrived. She did not describe the sitting as comfortable. She said the uncomfortable part was having the old sentence crossed out while other people could see the page. That, she added, was why she had paid for a room instead of marking gold alone at the kitchen table.
